Listimia v2 Is Now Available
After a long rebuild, Listimia v2 is officially released.
This version introduces Full Site Editing (FSE) support, marking a major architectural shift from the previous classic theme.
It wasn’t a visual tweak or a quick upgrade—Listimia had to be rebuilt on a completely different architecture to work natively with the WordPress blocks and the Site Editor.
The result is a more flexible, modern, and future-proof foundation, while keeping Listimia minimal and lightweight.
Why Full Site Editing (FSE) Matters
Full Site Editing changes how WordPress themes are built and customized.
With FSE, Listimia v2 allows you to:
- Edit headers, footers, and templates visually
- Customize single and archive layouts using blocks
- Control design consistency with global styles
- Reduce dependency on PHP template overrides
This means more control for site owners, cleaner architecture for developers, and better alignment with the future of WordPress.
One Theme. Flexible Layouts.
Listimia v2 includes a growing set of pre-designed block patterns built specifically for directory websites.

These patterns help you:
- Skip repetitive layout work
- Build pages faster using the Site Editor
- Create clean, consistent designs without custom code
They’re designed to be a starting point—not a limitation—so you can adapt them freely to your project.
A Necessary Step Forward
Moving from a classic theme to FSE required significant time and refactoring, but it was a necessary step to ensure Listimia remains maintainable and compatible with upcoming WordPress updates.
Listimia v2 is not a new theme—it’s the next evolution of Listimia.
